Brunch at Bills Restaurant

Image
After months and months of my sister and I tagging each other on Bills instagram feed.. I finally went for brunch. Sadly not with myself sister and I'm not sure just yet if she has clicked I have been.. but after she sees this I guess I will have some explaining to do! So Bills...was it worth the wait? I can confirm it was. why? they sell pancakes!! I mean they sell more than pancakes but that is always my first choice. 3 stacks or more.. you decide. I only went for 3 as I am "trying" to loose some weight and  opted for fruit instead of bacon. It was drenched in syrup! Useful tip - before starting the pancakes ask for extra syrup - when you eat them you will know why and can thank me later! As for My husband he went for smashed avocado with chilli - yes the healthier option!! We had 2 lattes (mine I had to ask to be weaker) and a fresh orange juice to share. The service was friendly and the food was quickly prepared.. great when you are really pecki...

The Ivy Chelsea Garden -

Image
Every now and then I love to visit the hotspots in London and have something to look forward to. My last trip was before December so this day out was long overdue. Last year I saw the Ivy opened "The Ivy City Garden" and of-course I was desperate to go but due to unfortunate circumstances I never made it.  Fast forward to a couple of months ago when my friend and I were choosing where to have a day out and we chose "The Ivy Chelsea Garden". Admittedly this was the better choice! Why? The restaurant is located on one of Londons most sought after roads, one that is lined with high end shops, bars and beautiful houses. You can really make a day of it - and thats exactly what we did. I made the booking on www.opentable.co.uk which was great as they send reminders!  This is so handy considering we both lead hectic lives AND we tend to book so far in advance. Back to my experience: After wading through the bloggers having their pictu...

Breakfast at Cafe Rouge

It was Sunday morning, the sun was shining and I was feeling as fresh as a daisy... I woke up early and new I had a lot of errands to run. As I lay in bed and my stomach rumbled, I starting thinking about what's for breakfast? We usually do the weekly shop on a Sunday so the cupboards are bare. Then it dawned on me - why don't we make a change on a Sunday morning and go for breakfast/ brunch. We rocked up to Cafe Rouge somewhere I frequently visited a few years back, mainly for a coffee or dinner. We walked in, it was relatively quiet (10am) and we were seated inside by the window. The love the decor inside, black and white tiles, wines on display.. Very French. The waiter gave us the menus and asked if we would like to order a drink. Obviously I opted for a latte. Then I peered outside and the image of the sunshine and vacant spaces outside made me want to go out and watch the world go by. So we swiftly moved outside, my latte came shortly after and we ord...
