Are you a Mamia Mum?

Image
Have you tried the Mamia range from Aldi? I have to admit I love an Aldi shop and have previously bought quite a few items from their Special Buys... who doesn't love the middle aisles of magical items?! Once Aria arrived they were my first choice for nappies for her as they are voted one of the best brands for newborns and not to mention great value! So when they got in touch and asked me to review their Mamia range I was more than excited! Yes a trip to Aldi without making excuses to my husband. I was given £30 and I was shocked with how much I could buy! (pictured above was just half of it) Being a new mum brings all kinds of stresses and you start realising quite quickly that you want the best for your baby but you also need to shop a lot smarter. The Mamia range offers the core essentials you need for your baby, so I was keen to put it to the test. Nappies and Nappy sacks   Whilst I had previously used these, I had recently swapped to another supermarket br...

Mad Hatters Afternoon Tea at the Sanderson

Image
I am so happy to finally share the fact that I went to The Mad Hatters Afternoon Tea at the Sanderson! I have seen so many pictures on Instagram and love following their account - I have been to the Sanderson for Espresso Martinis but really wanted to go for afternoon tea! I just love going to afternoon tea and recently went to one with my mum but we really wanted to go with my sister and have a girls day out. My sister booked it and as my mum hasn't been well she explained that we couldn't sit outside (extremely lucky as the temperature plummeted to 4 Celsius!) So the guy promised to have us seated inside and when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised! We had a private dining area/ it was quite dark (which didn't help with pictures) BUT it was lovely.. dark and cosy and lit with candle light - we felt so privileged to be there. The staff were incredibly friendly and explained the menu to us and asked about dietary requirements which are very im...

Lunching at Aubaine in Selfridges

Image
For a while now I have wanted to visit Aubaine in Selfridges... Each time I passed it.. I did exactly that and passed it. Friday I stopped and being it was a special day out with my mother I said "let's try this, I have wanted to for ages" My mother isn't too well as she suffers from severe Crohn's disease, therefore she can be limited on what she can eat. We studied the menu and immediately she laid eyes on the mussels (they seem to not agitate her illness) so we skipped in with a warm welcome from staff and we could also choose where to sit. We probably reached the restaurant around 12/ 12.30pm and it was busy enough for good atmosphere. The place is so beautifully decorated I couldn't help but take some snaps and now here I am blogging about the place! Flowers cascading seem to be a running theme. Patterned tiles (my fave) can be spotted around the restaurant.       As previously mentioned -my mother chose the muscles and they came...

The Dyson Supersonic hairdryer

Image
I have to say I am an extremely lucky girl to get my hands on Dysons Supersonic hairdryer. I wouldn't say I am a massive technology queen and love all the latest gadgets but a hair dryer isn't quite a gadget it's something I use 2 - 3 times per week - it's a part of my routine. My previous hairdryer I think I have had for roughLy 5 - 7 years and yes I was due an upgrade. I ALWAYS take my hairdryer away with me - hotel hair dryers just do not work on my hair and in June I made the ultimate mistake of leaving it behind in the quest to travel lighter.... n e v e r  a g a I n. It took me an hour to dry my hair and was incredibly frustrating I left it behind because it was too heavy. In August my blow dryer dilemma days became a thing of the past. This hairdryer is extraordinary by design and is multifunctional. There are; - 3 magnetic styling attachments - a smoothing nozzle, a styling concentrator and a diffuser. - 3 airflow settings. - 4 precise heat s...

Image
Every time I go away or my husband goes away I tend to buy/ receive a new perfume... So much so my collection is growing faster than I'm using them.. And my beautiful glass shelf in my bathroom is becoming quite congested! My recent purchase and new found love is a special perfume by Marc Jacobs and the beauty about this one is its too precious for my glass shelf and instead has taken pride of place on my dressing table... Ooh special I know! The perfume will now always remind me of my trip to Santorini as it purchased it on the way back as a little cheeky treat and this perfume is - Marc Jacobs - Decadence. Decadence - meaning " unrestrained or excessive self - indulgence" That's exactly what this perfume is, its pricey, it comes in a gorgeous green velvety box with gold writing. The actual bottle itself is pure luxury.. And resembles Marc Jacobs iconic shaped bag with a gorgeous gold chain and a black silk tassel.. Can you see why it deserves to be on m...
