Mad Hatters Afternoon Tea at the Sanderson

Image
I am so happy to finally share the fact that I went to The Mad Hatters Afternoon Tea at the Sanderson! I have seen so many pictures on Instagram and love following their account - I have been to the Sanderson for Espresso Martinis but really wanted to go for afternoon tea! I just love going to afternoon tea and recently went to one with my mum but we really wanted to go with my sister and have a girls day out. My sister booked it and as my mum hasn't been well she explained that we couldn't sit outside (extremely lucky as the temperature plummeted to 4 Celsius!) So the guy promised to have us seated inside and when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised! We had a private dining area/ it was quite dark (which didn't help with pictures) BUT it was lovely.. dark and cosy and lit with candle light - we felt so privileged to be there. The staff were incredibly friendly and explained the menu to us and asked about dietary requirements which are very im...

Tale As Old As Time Afternoon Tea at the Town House at the Kensington

Are you a fan of Beauty and The Beast? Yes me too! Earlier this year I heard there was going to be a themed afternoon tea in London to celebrate the re release of Beauty and the Beast. To say I was excited is an understatement. I absolutely love afternoon tea and I love to try ones with a twist. I arrived with my mum on a beautiful crisp cold sunny Monday afternoon greeted by the doorman at our taxi and from that moment on it was truly magical.  The outside was pretty with a traditional old bicycle and on either side of the entrance bay trees and seating for guests to enjoy the gorgeous Kensington surroundings. The doorman didn't mind taking a few snaps for us either!   After a few hundred photos outside we were guided to the lob...

My stay at The Landmark London Hotel

Image
This weekend I stayed at the Landmark Hotel in Marylebone. This 5 star luxury hotel is directly opposite Marylebone Station and has two entrances. the entrance at the front offers Valet parking and quick access to checking in. Upon arrival the staff were all friendly and informative and we were extremely pleased to hear that we had been upgraded free of charge. Exited to get to the room we went straight up and didn't Stop to look around the hotel simply because we couldn't wait to see what upgrade we had been treated to.   We stayed in the Marylebone Studio suite. Entering we fell in love. We had a lounge complete with a sofa, a large sitting chair, a desk with mirror and leather chair, a TV and coffee machine. And let's not forget our bottle of champagne (Apart of our package) There were large Juliet balcony windows that over looked the Landmarks BEAUTIFUL Winter Garden which if you didn't know is made up of Palm Trees. Here you can eat breakfast,...
