My Autumn wish List - The Luxury Classic Edit

Image
Autumn is fast approaching and its time for new clothes. Whether it be items you are recycling from last year or items you are lusting for the new season its still an exciting time for fashionistas across the globe! I like to set up a wish list (of course majority of the items stay on the list) but I love to challenge myself to see if its at all possible to find a good hughstreet version. But the beauty of a wish list is that its my inspiration and hopefully inspires you too... its a window into the luxury world without having to pay for any of it... and a girl can dream right? First up - The Burberry Aviator  Ever since these jackets hit the runway I have dreamt of owning one. I love all the buckle detail, the lining, the colour and the fact it would be your autumn/ winter wardrobe staple for years to come. It really is an investment piece as it doesn't come cheap... try over the 1K mark BUT it is a masterpiece and I bet it would keep you lovely and warm. I could...

The Summer Straw Bag Edit

Image
We all love a new handbag, right? Any excuse to purchase a new one, right? Well keep reading! I have you covered. As the seasons change, so should your bags/ accessories.. what looked good in winter may not look good in Summer! So I have ditched my black cross body and recently opted for a floral one (given to me by Krisp) and now I'm on to the Straw bag trend.. one I have been using over for a while now... These bags are EVERYWHERE and if I could have them all I would. I have been watching the trend and a popular choice are the round shaped cross body straw bags which are amazing but I was drawn to this little basket style one and I am so happy with it!! Why a straw bag this summer? They are bang on trend, they complete that summers day look you have longed for and will make a great accessory if you are jetting abroad. The one I chose is light weight, it is fun and it is functional! Need I say much more? I chose mine from Zara, they have a great range when...

My guide to a Mamas wardrobe must have

Image
Time is flying and I am no longer a mum to a newborn, no my baby is nearly 16 weeks old!! Where did that time go? I honestly have no idea but I do know that along my journey I am learning so much.  I hope to share as much as I learn with you and on this occasion I'm talking fashion! You might be thinking - fashion? seriously? and yes I'm dead serious. Over the weeks I've learnt how to adapt my wardrobe because believe it or not things do have to change. Here is my guide to a Mamas wardrobe must haves: Leggings: SO after birth and the weeks after all you want to be is comfortable. Jeans are no longer your go to choice of casual wear.  If you are like me, you will find you can't quite fit back in them just yet and they aren't comfortable. If you purchased maternity jeans then great you will most likely live in them and if not buy some leggings. Leggings are my best friend! Just grab some from Primark/ Boohoo or  Next - I found the ones from ...

My Spring Wish List - The Luxury Edit

Image
Finally spring has sprung! its taken a while but we are finally there and now that we have had our one day of sunshine we are all set right? wrong! I haven't been inspired whatsoever and I have heard a lot of people feel the same way. Ive decided to compile a Luxury Spring Wish List.. I figured I do one at Christmas so why not for Spring? Fashion As Spring is approaching its time to think about the "Tote bag" you will need, yes need! they are great for the spring AND summer months... I am in awe of this one form YSL - I love the dark Khaki which would look amazing with beige and white tones. It has a detachable purse inside and a cute gold YSL tag. This would definitely be my ultimate bag.. if this isn't quite your colour..it does come in other colours just check out YSL.com. IF this bag is too expensive I have actually found an alternative from Matalan! Its reversible grey and light pink and a tiny portion of the price of a YSL! yes you can thank me...

Gucci logo T Shirt by Gucci

Image
Finally. It's time to tell the story about my Gucci T-Shirt. Those that love Gucci (like me) will have seen this T-Shirt is their latest advertisements and it has created a "lust have" desire amongst fashionistas and bloggers. When I first saw it online I thought should I? Should I not? I then opted against it - even though I absolutely LOVED the retro and "used" style and instead treated myself to something else. A few weeks later it played on my mind so I went back to Gucci website only to see that there was roughly a 3 month wait on arrival of this t-shirt... So again I shyed away. What happened next?? Well call it luck, fate or pure co-incidence... I was visiting Selfridges and I was only just saying to my mum about the Gucci T-Shirt and the fact the men's version was cheaper than the women's. So we just casually looked at the t shirts and suddenly there IT WAS! Right before my very eyes. I couldn't believe it. I grabbed it. Wo...

Gucci leather belt with interlocking G buckle

Image
Happy birthday to me! This year I have celebrated a milestone and I decided to buy myself a birthday gift. To me, from me. Gucci. I have wanted a Gucci belt for the most of 2016 and decided to go for it once and for all. Originally I wanted the leather belt with double G but after its mass popularity they are hard to get hold of AND I decided to get something a little more classic as I quite like the classic look and plus the style won't go out of fashion. When I was trying it on in Gucci I immediately fell in love with it and it was in stock. The belt comes in a gorgeous monochrome box and a dust bag to keep it clean and safe.   This weekend my prized belt had its debut and I absolutely loved styling it. I started with a heavily embroidered dress and faux fur and completely changed the next day to a 80s inspired look. With the belt being so classic it is easier to create different looks and I am looking forward to wearing all black and let the belt speak...

Zara's take on the Gucci Princetown Leather Slipper trend

Image
To be totally honest with you I have shocked myself on this purchase from Zara. In recent weeks fur sliders and fur slippers have been taking over my Instagram feed and I never understood them. I still don't understand why you would add fur to sliders but I have come round to the idea of fur slippers. Here are mine I am proudly presenting from Zara. I have seen the Gucci ones so many times and whilst in Zara I thought I would give them a cheeky try on and now look what's happened... They now live with me! I honestly am shocked but seriously when you put them on you will not want to take them off.... The comfort!! So now I get this trend! These Zara shoes are an excellent way to get the current Gucci Princetown Leather slipper look for less. These are Lined leather mules. This trend won't be around for ever but are this seasons must haves! So trendy, chic and different you would be mad not to splash out and treat yourself to these. The faux fur trim is a...

Up style your wardrobe with River Island brooches

Image
A new season is upon us... I can't believe it's Autumn already but with this in mind - a new season calls for a new style. I can't sit still I absolutely love being inspired and equally inspiring others! I am constantly on Instagram and Twitter and I love sharing my looks and seeing what the designers are doing and then setting about creating the look for less. My new work look has been adding a big silk bow to a crisp white shirt... Pussy bows are back and you can immediately get the look by visiting your local habidashery. I loved the look so much but I still wanted a little more attention to detail.. I saw a picture on Gucci's Instagram AND it immediately inspired me. Although the picture was a male model I knew I could create the same style with a feminine touch...now all i needed were some brooches.   I had this look in my mind but I really didn't know where to find the right brooches... Until I visited one of my favourite shops .. River I...

The most desirable reversible bomber jacket from Topshop!

Image
Bomber jackets have been a huge wardrobe staple this year and it looks as though the style will carry on into autumn and winter. High street shops continue to produce more designs with more details but this one from Topshop really caught my eye. I already have an oriental patterned bomber jacket but this one has embroidery which saw a return in summer and will be heavily used this autumn. The details are gorgeous - on the monochrome side there is a large Tiger on the back - Gucci has used Tigers recently on their custom made leather jackets and bomber jackets so this really enticed me. The other reason I fell instantly in love is the fact that this bomber jackets reversible! YES 2 bomber jackets for the price of 1! The other side is a gorgeous electric blue!   Even though Both sides look remarkably similar by design the colours are very different. The black, white and red is incredibly striking and I would probably tend to wear this side more in the evenings. Wher...
