Mom Life - The Style Bubble baby products I am Loving - 6 months plus

Image
Every so often I love to share what I have found useful. Why? Because being a mum its hard to know what you need, what you don't need and how much money it all is! So heres a little insight to what I am loving and I feel has been money well spent: Matchstick Monkey: Have you heard of Matchstick monkey? All I can say is move over Sophie the giraffe there is a new animal in town and I love it.. and as you can see so does Aria! I purchased this when Aria was 4 months old and I haven't looked back. It comes in all kinds of colours, its easy for baby to hold and chew/ suck on AND has a bumpy texture behind the monkeys head to help babies with the texture of brushing their teeth. She takes it most places and its easier to sterilise. For me this teething toy is a game changer and I recommend it to everyone with babies!     The IKEA highchair: Highchairs can be bulky/ expensive and hard to choose. I was so put off by the whole process until my...

The Pom Pom Heels Edit

Image
Pom Pom heels have to be the best invention in recent years. After having my baby girl I have had to have a revamp of my wardrobe and update my style. I found I was having a slight identity crisis.. and wanted to be more fun!! I was casually shopping in Topshop whilst on the phone and suddenly these pom pom heels caught my eye! These are the epitome of FUN! gorgeous dusky pink and large pom poms. Love Love LOVE!! These are the high-streets answer to the famous Aquazzura powder puff heels! I absolutely love finding dupes and this one I want to share with as many people as possible. Aquazzura heels can set you back around £500 where these are just £39!! I decided to let my imagination run wild with my recent outfit... I wore the pom pom shoes with a floral print dress and a dusky pink faux fur bag also from Topshop. I haven't felt this way about a style I have created since before I was pregnant! for once I felt great! Not only did I have the best dupes ...

The Summer Straw Bag Edit

Image
We all love a new handbag, right? Any excuse to purchase a new one, right? Well keep reading! I have you covered. As the seasons change, so should your bags/ accessories.. what looked good in winter may not look good in Summer! So I have ditched my black cross body and recently opted for a floral one (given to me by Krisp) and now I'm on to the Straw bag trend.. one I have been using over for a while now... These bags are EVERYWHERE and if I could have them all I would. I have been watching the trend and a popular choice are the round shaped cross body straw bags which are amazing but I was drawn to this little basket style one and I am so happy with it!! Why a straw bag this summer? They are bang on trend, they complete that summers day look you have longed for and will make a great accessory if you are jetting abroad. The one I chose is light weight, it is fun and it is functional! Need I say much more? I chose mine from Zara, they have a great range when...

SS18 The Floral Bag Edit

Image
At the moment all things floral are IN. I repeat IN. Which means of course I need to get my grubby mitts on this trend. Why? High end designers like Gucci and Erdem are currently floral print mad, the busier the better and I am all for this look. Im literally one of those people that either like my look very plain and stylish or totally out there.. slightly odd I know but I think the totally out there style is me subconsciously rebelling. The Floral Bag: Recently I was lucky enough to receive two bags from Krisp Clothing and now I feel set for this trend. One being a light pink floral designed cross body bag and one being a predominately white floral "embroidery effect" tote.   Both bags beautiful in their own right. Floral Print Small Cross Body bag: These bags are perfect for summer, they are so handy! Great for sight seeing abroad, hectic London life or being mum! As a new mum I find a cross body bag is perfect to keep your purse/ phone/ keys and a lip...

Grey Faux Fur Coat inspiration from Primark

Image
At this time of year its perfect to get out your faux fur coats and really wrap up warm. Each year I love to look for something new but I am reluctant to pay high price tags. Why? Some can be so expensive and when you drag them out the dark depths of your cupboards a year later you might have gone off that look. So this year I purchased my Faux fur from Primark. Yes Primark! I am sooooo pleased with my purchase. I kept dreaming of a dusty pink one but when I set eyes on this light grey I was sold! I have so much grey and I knew I could match it better. I purchased a size 10 as I like it to be oversized, it has a lovely collar and great length where it covers my behind :) Some faux fur coats I feel can't really be worn after Christmas (I know its a weird thing to say) but black faux fur to me screams November/ December. Whereas a lighter colour can take you through to February and gives you a longer life span of wearing it.   For the price I paid I still f...

My Latest bargain over the knee boots from Zara

Image
If you follow me on Instagram or on Twitter you would have seriously realised I am ALL about the over the knee boots this year. To be honest I love them every autumn/ winter and this is how I have now grown such a large selection of them but I am particularly loving them this year as they have made my maternity look and have kept me feeling like myself yet remaining comfy. Anyway... recently I find myself stalking Zara website.. like seriously stalking and putting items in my basket but not always necessarily purchasing them - DO you do that? Well I had a pair of OTK boots In my basket but decided I really needed to try them on and at the time they were around £49.99 - I went to Zara and I could believe my eyes they had been reduced to £25.99! Hence bargain boots!! These boots slide on with an opening at the ankle for ease. If you have quite skinny legs they actually stay up! They have gold details and actually look much more expensive than their current price tag - trust...

Tropic Heat Highlighter in 02 Active Peach from KiKO

Image
KIKO has to be one of my favourite cosmetic shops. They are always releasing great products and have some great beauty staples. I tend to always purchase my eyebrow pencil from there and their lipgloss crayons. I can guarantee when I go to restock I always end up with more than I intended and this time I bought THE most amazing highlighter. The Highlighter is apart of their Tropic Heat capsule collection to celebrate their 20th anniversary. when I played around with their testers and did some swatches I knew I had to get the 02 Active Peach colour.   This is a gorgeous special memory formula. It feels like gel when you dab your finger in the pot and when you apply to your cheek bones it feels like a cool gel that turns into a non sticky highlighter.   It is a striking rose gold colour that really makes a statement and great for summer cheeks. The day I bought it I had to wear it on a night out and it adds subtle drama to a simple look. I like to foc...

Gucci logo T Shirt by Gucci

Image
Finally. It's time to tell the story about my Gucci T-Shirt. Those that love Gucci (like me) will have seen this T-Shirt is their latest advertisements and it has created a "lust have" desire amongst fashionistas and bloggers. When I first saw it online I thought should I? Should I not? I then opted against it - even though I absolutely LOVED the retro and "used" style and instead treated myself to something else. A few weeks later it played on my mind so I went back to Gucci website only to see that there was roughly a 3 month wait on arrival of this t-shirt... So again I shyed away. What happened next?? Well call it luck, fate or pure co-incidence... I was visiting Selfridges and I was only just saying to my mum about the Gucci T-Shirt and the fact the men's version was cheaper than the women's. So we just casually looked at the t shirts and suddenly there IT WAS! Right before my very eyes. I couldn't believe it. I grabbed it. Wo...
