Are you a Mamia Mum?

Image
Have you tried the Mamia range from Aldi? I have to admit I love an Aldi shop and have previously bought quite a few items from their Special Buys... who doesn't love the middle aisles of magical items?! Once Aria arrived they were my first choice for nappies for her as they are voted one of the best brands for newborns and not to mention great value! So when they got in touch and asked me to review their Mamia range I was more than excited! Yes a trip to Aldi without making excuses to my husband. I was given £30 and I was shocked with how much I could buy! (pictured above was just half of it) Being a new mum brings all kinds of stresses and you start realising quite quickly that you want the best for your baby but you also need to shop a lot smarter. The Mamia range offers the core essentials you need for your baby, so I was keen to put it to the test. Nappies and Nappy sacks   Whilst I had previously used these, I had recently swapped to another supermarket br...

Grey Faux Fur Coat inspiration from Primark

Image
At this time of year its perfect to get out your faux fur coats and really wrap up warm. Each year I love to look for something new but I am reluctant to pay high price tags. Why? Some can be so expensive and when you drag them out the dark depths of your cupboards a year later you might have gone off that look. So this year I purchased my Faux fur from Primark. Yes Primark! I am sooooo pleased with my purchase. I kept dreaming of a dusty pink one but when I set eyes on this light grey I was sold! I have so much grey and I knew I could match it better. I purchased a size 10 as I like it to be oversized, it has a lovely collar and great length where it covers my behind :) Some faux fur coats I feel can't really be worn after Christmas (I know its a weird thing to say) but black faux fur to me screams November/ December. Whereas a lighter colour can take you through to February and gives you a longer life span of wearing it.   For the price I paid I still f...

Furry Pom Pom and embellished hat by Primark

Image
The days are definitely getting colder and now I just want to wrap up warm and feel all snuggled... That's what winter and winter clothes are all about. There is nothing better than warm oversized jumpers and large fleecy blankets, roaring fires and of course your trusty winter hat. I haven't always been a massive hat Fan but over the last year I am slowly becoming addicted... Yes another addiction to add to the long list. This weekend I didn't set out to get a hat but came across one that really caught my eye and after I popped it on my head, pranced in front of the mirror I then joined many other people in the the que and it was all mine.   The hat is grey and black, it has embellishment and the largest Pom Pom. Naturally I couldn't wait to wear it the next day and teamed it with mainly black and my OTK grey boots. Why should you head straight to Primark? 1. Excellent value for money. 2. Classic colours. 3. The biggest Pom Pom and embellishment ...

My Dolce and Gabbana inspired H&M dress

Image
When I left Milan I left inspired. The one place I was truly impressed with was Dolce and Gabanna and their bold prints. Every collection they had told a story and I was transformed into their fantasy world looking around their stores. When I arrived back home the idea of wearing prints of flowers was embedded in my mind and I had to find something to quench my thirst for this look. I tend to steer away from prints but sometimes I love to go off track. The day before my trip I suddenly felt unprepared and made a quick dash to H&M. I call this my "last cry for help" whenever I impulse buy Dr a holiday. We all know the truth - we have enough clothes already but you have that need to pack a little more than needed and buy last minute clothes just in case".   Presenting to you my "Dolce and Gabbana" inspired dress. It's bold floral pattern mixed with stripes in a variation of colour really make this dress stand out from the rest. It has a gorgeo...
