Those that follow me on Instagram/ Twitter will know I have recently had a little baby girl... therefore Im still carrying baby weight! I'm still buying all things comfy right now.. and after celebrating 3 family birthdays in January (including my own) and consuming copious amounts of cake I can't even begin to dream of wearing jeans.. so on the hunt I went this week for a pair of new leggings... I bought two pairs from different shops and they were either way too tight and thin or just saggy and thin! I was going to give up hope when I came across these beauties from River Island. They are thicker than your regular leggings and they have gold details.. I just love gold. The gold details are the holes for the lace up bottoms..so you've guessed it, they have another one of my favourite features - bows!! If you follow me on Instagram or on Twitter you would have seriously realised I am ALL about the over the knee boots this year. To be honest I love them every autumn/ winter and this is how I have now grown such a large selection of them but I am particularly loving them this year as they have made my maternity look and have kept me feeling like myself yet remaining comfy. Anyway... recently I find myself stalking Zara website.. like seriously stalking and putting items in my basket but not always necessarily purchasing them - DO you do that? Well I had a pair of OTK boots In my basket but decided I really needed to try them on and at the time they were around £49.99 - I went to Zara and I could believe my eyes they had been reduced to £25.99! Hence bargain boots!! These boots slide on with an opening at the ankle for ease. If you have quite skinny legs they actually stay up! They have gold details and actually look much more expensive than their current price tag - trust...

Last year I purchased the most comfortable boots for work from New Look and being a rubber type of heel they only tend to last one winter season (every day use) So I binned last years ones and hoped they re-released a similar pair this year. As soon as boots season started I kept checking and couldn't believe my luck when I saw they had returned. Why do I love these boots so much? Firstly they are comfortable - each day I walk 40 minutes as part of my commute which means comfort is key. Secondly they are part leather look and part elasticated at the back which means if you have slightly skinnier legs they fir much better. Thirdly they are versatile - whist I wear them to work with dresses and skirts they would also look gorgeous at the weekend with jeans and an oversized jumper. My final reason - excellent value for money at just £29.99!!  Since I have bought them I haven't taken them off! I have been wearing them each day for work and its fitted well ...

New year. New sunglasses. Every year I love to get a new sunnies and I don't care where from... It can be from Forever 21 high street store to a designer store.. It depends what grabs me and what looks good. This year is the year of Miu Miu. Why Miu Miu? Their designs are quirky and out there and I wanted a break from the normal designers. These are not like your regular sunnies these are heart shaped, quirky, classic Miu Miu and elegant. If you purchase from a Miu Miu concession/ boutique then the glasses will be packaged in their classic dusty pink and gold bag with ribbon. The sunglasses come in a velvety hard case and also has a soft case which is quite rare when buying sunglasses from designers it's usually one or the other. Ok I have already admitted it on Instagram and I it's officially on my blog... I am obsessed with these boots. So originally I posted about the white version (I hunted down) then I started dreaming about the black... At the time they had all sold out so I was gutted.. And then they have come back AND there is also a tan version!! Well I got the black as I am very monochrome obsessed and it was natural to get the boots of my dreams in both colours. I am still quite shocked that I actually own both considering how difficult it has been to get them.   I adore the fact they are covered in silver studs large and small and have the cutest wrap around buckles which mean they can be be worn with fishnets in cooler weather but also be worn during the summer month, day time, night time, shopping, festivals - you name it you wear it. So here I am blogging about fish net tights. They are pretty self explanatory and I am surprised I gave in and purchased a pair. But I have to say I am extremely pleased that I did. You see I am going through an "edgy phrase" sounds crazy I know BUT every so often I have this increased urge to be a little like Rhianna - "Good girl gone bad" but when I say this I mean with my choice of clothes. I like to be all rock n roll and this Defo adds the bad girl to any look. The military trend is always IN and for that reason this blazer is a must. Every year Miss Selfridge release the best blazers and the time to get yours is now. I've played it safe this year (and every year) as I've opted for the classic black - but this particular blazer comes in 4 colours. Why black? Firstly it's classic, second it matches everything, third of all it really dramatises the gold button detail AND it's for work so needs to be durable for the London hustle and bustle. This jacket is just adorable with the double breasted front which actually only does up with one of the buttons. It's fitted which I really love.. I am a huge Chanel fan - it's literally my favourite designer for several reasons, the classic style, the use of monochrome, pearls, tweed and the history. However it's hard to keep up with Chanels prices so I have found THE BEST Chanel dupes. These gorgous shoes are from my other favourite place -Zara. They are monochrome braided ballerinas at a fraction of the price. They have padding in the sole, round toe and cute white bows (very Chanel) I love finds like this and the minute I saw them I knew I would love a pair... The fishnet fad is getting bigger and bigger each day and they are being worn all kinds of ways, under ripped jeans, pulled up and worn high waisted, with strappy heels and dresses. It's one look I've shy'ed away from yet I really like the look of fish nets and yes I wore this look a few years back, in fact I had khaki knee high fish nets that I loved to wear and I found them again. BUT it was time to invest and I really just wanted the sock version. It's crazy enough without being too crazy. So whilst I was shopping in Miss Guided - not the online store, the newly opened shop in Westfield Stratford. I asked the girl working and she grabbed me some pairs from the back, lucky I asked! I couldn't find them anywhere else. I've had them a few weeks and today I finally wore them! AND I loved them!!! I rocked them with a gingham dress, jean jacket an biker boots. I am literally shoe crazy right now but I am crazy about getting good value dupes and I am ticking every box in my quest with Zara's shoes. These are my Chanel dupes.. I have a few now but I really love these. These are a deep black suede texture with caged fronts, sling backs which are very Chanel and chunky heels. When I picked them up I was in two minds but I have got to say I am so glad they are mine. They scream fashionista and are so classy. Slogan Tees are set to be big again this year and there's a new way of wearing them - matching with your BFF. Yes it sounds good right? So at the weekend my BFF and I always like to go out "twinning" whether this means by wearing similar outfits, similar colours or now matching Tees it makes our bond stronger than ever. I spotted these gorgous Tees from Bershka and thought "this is so US" that I had to get it. It's a great Tee to wear on a day out together or like we did.. For casual drinks with our friends. Last summer I was in Milan and I fell head over heels in love with the Miu Miu version BUT they had sold out in my size and only had white satin available which is not suitable for London.
