The Pom Pom Heels Edit

Image
Pom Pom heels have to be the best invention in recent years. After having my baby girl I have had to have a revamp of my wardrobe and update my style. I found I was having a slight identity crisis.. and wanted to be more fun!! I was casually shopping in Topshop whilst on the phone and suddenly these pom pom heels caught my eye! These are the epitome of FUN! gorgeous dusky pink and large pom poms. Love Love LOVE!! These are the high-streets answer to the famous Aquazzura powder puff heels! I absolutely love finding dupes and this one I want to share with as many people as possible. Aquazzura heels can set you back around £500 where these are just £39!! I decided to let my imagination run wild with my recent outfit... I wore the pom pom shoes with a floral print dress and a dusky pink faux fur bag also from Topshop. I haven't felt this way about a style I have created since before I was pregnant! for once I felt great! Not only did I have the best dupes ...

The Tweed Jacket Style Edit

Image
This year I have already posted about my Chanel shoe dupes and now I'm stepping up my game with the one jacket that is so incredibly iconic and a true classic - The Tweed Jacket. The jacket was inspired by her love the Duke of Westminster, where he would wear a tweed jacket she took the style (originally just for men) and transformed the idea of a tweed jacket so that women can also wear it. I would love to personally thank her! Now a real Chanel tweed jacket is so desirable and I would LOVE to own one but for now I will definitely settle for a dupe. Again I have found that Zara are great for this!! They have released several this year so far, a navy one with gold buttons, a red and navy one and this creamy coloured one. I really wanted a cream coloured one (this looks cream but is a mix of pastel colours when close up) and this one has beautiful buttons and the classic frayed edges.   I think tweed style jackets look great as a smart casual look. The first t...

The Polka Dot Trend Edit

Image
Winter is slowly disappearing and our wardrobes are soon set to make a transition to spring and we all want to know what the next trend is and I can safely say that Polka dots are set to make a come back and take over the fashion scene. In past years I haven't felt that I am a strong fan of Polka dots BUT this year I am just as crazy for polka dots than polka dots themselves! Why? Polka dots are fun, stylish and can be mixed and matched - whether you choose to dress them up or go casual the polka dot trend has your back..it is an easy, fun and flirty print. so to kick start this trend in my wardrobe I spotted (get it?) this top on Zara.com - the main reason I fell in love with it was the fact its monochrome polka dots. Also it looks vibrant, fresh and great value. Initially when I unboxed it I wasn't too impressed as I thought it would be more like a t-shirt style long sleeve top but instead its loose and soft and I much prefer it this way. The first time I st...

Zip up Bodycon dress from Zara

Image
A few months ago I was invited to an awards night.. I have attended the last two years and so glad I was invited for the third year. Then came the panic mode of "What to wear". I knew what colour dress I was required to wear which actually really helps and narrows it down.. its just finding THE dress. I knew I had some statement shoes I purchased from Zara last year that I was dying to wear again so atlas that was sorted. My go to place for most things is Zara - I just love it there and shock horror this is wear my dress is from! I picked it up in the shop, walked around looking for other items and a lady stopped and asked me where I got the dress from.. therefore I knew it had to be special..maybe it was a sign. The dress is a bodycon style, it has a thicker than usual fabric which helps to pull you in slightly and is also extremely expandable. Its black, Has frill details around the strap and the top of the dress and is finished off with a gorgeous gold zip...

Boohoo fish net tights

Image
So here I am blogging about fish net tights. They are pretty self explanatory and I am surprised I gave in and purchased a pair. But I have to say I am extremely pleased that I did. You see I am going through an "edgy phrase" sounds crazy I know BUT every so often I have this increased urge to be a little like Rhianna - "Good girl gone bad" but when I say this I mean with my choice of clothes. I like to be all rock n roll and this Defo adds the bad girl to any look. SOOO many women are wearing these and it's a Great Way to get creative with outfits, dress them up or dress them down the choices are endless. I wore them shopping with an animal print skirt, biker boots and a Gucci T Shirt. I absolutely loved wearing them and they seriously completed the look. They are cheap and cheerful however I need to add a slight warning to these: 1. You can't rush and put them on ... They will require some time. 2. Be careful when pulling them up s t...

Madness studded boots from Topshop

Image
Infactuated. Obsessed. In love. Can you feel that way about a pair of boots? Well when you find yourself frantically phoning Selfridges to see if the Topshop concession still have THE boots that have sold out online then the answer is yes. Yes I feel that way about these boots. Maybe seeing them sold out made me want them more? Who knows. Who cares. They are mine and I cannot wait to run them into the ground. I even want them in black but again they are sold out!!! So why blog about them? They might come back... Or if not then take these boots as inspiration.   They are sooooooo me. I love the fact they are cut out - veryVogue and I can't forget the fact they are full of studs. Statement or what!!   With these boots the first time I wore them I wore lots of pearls and a cluster of diamanté rings ..... So rock n roll I know. The boots do come at a price BUT these boots can be worn from now until autumn in my eyes. The western style is in - so if you p...

Gingham peplum shirt from Primark

Image
I am crazy about peplums.......and gingham is on the come back, so you can imagine when I found this shirt in Primark I was ecstatic. Primark shirts are great, they wash well and last for the incredibly low prices you pay. Plus you can keep up to date with fashion for less. There are soooo many gorgous gingham items breaking through and I love the fact I can introduce this print into my workwear style. The peplum also gives it that added girly touch and will look great with black chinos or a pencil skirt. I didn't see this in any other colours but I am a huge monochrome lover so for me this is perfect. Why do you need this in your current wardrobe? 1. Excellent style for work. 2. Would look fab with skinny jeans and ballerina pumps. 3. Great value 4. Gingham print is IN 5. Gorgous peplum detail. Xxxx

Dotty sheer peplum top from Primark

Image
At the moment Sheer fabric and layering is on trend and this is one look I am keen to go full force on. I am loving embroidered sheer tops and dresses and also patterned fabrics - it's great for evenings out if purchased on black but nudes and pastel sheer tops can be easily worry daytime for a more fairytale look. On a recent trip to Primark I really had to hold back from buying all their sheer tops but there was one that caught my eye... And yes it was a black one again. This top is a dotty print sheer fabric and has a peplum which by the way is coming back in fashion! (My fave) As the top is completely see through I wore a vest top underneath. The beauty of this top is the fact you can wear it day or night AND it can worn in the summer over a bikini. There are so many styles tha can be created from one top. Why should you head to Primark? 1. This top is excellent value for money. 2. Gorgous dotty design looks great on top of your skin. 3. Sheer tops are...

Forever/ Sister printed T-Shirt from Bershka

Image
Slogan Tees are set to be big again this year and there's a new way of wearing them - matching with your BFF. Yes it sounds good right? So at the weekend my BFF and I always like to go out "twinning" whether this means by wearing similar outfits, similar colours or now matching Tees it makes our bond stronger than ever. I spotted these gorgous Tees from Bershka and thought "this is so US" that I had to get it. It's a great Tee to wear on a day out together or like we did.. For casual drinks with our friends. How you dress it is totally up to your individual style.  One of the Tees slogan is "forever" and the other tee slogan is "sisters" = Sisters Forever. It's a great idea as one Tee is black and one tee is white. I chose the black and my bff wore the White. I opted for a pleather skirt and otk boots and my bff wore a metallic midi skirt and floral print ankle boots... We both rocked different styles yet we com...

Tiger Brooch (Gucci dupe ) from H&M

Image
I am super excited to share this find from H&M. Have you heard this year in the Chinese calendar is the Rooster? WELL in the world of fashion and Gucci it's the year of the Tiger.. Which I absolutely love. In fact last year was also all about Gucci and Tigers and I spent a while frantically looking for a tiger brooch. I looked everywhere, online, in shops and I even attempted to search for a tiger brooch at a vintage fair and I had no such luck. Until a couple of weeks ago I stumbled across this beauty! I love this brooch and so did my mum so we both had to get one. It's gold, black and full of sparkles that makes it eye catching - every box ticked. This is definitely a Gucci Dupe at its best. How would I wear it? Ooh well with a white crisp shirt at the collar (I did this last year with various other brooches) it really adds something different and can immediately transform your look. You can attach it to jumpers with a cluster of other brooches ...

Style Tipper - Leopard Print coat classic trend

Image
This post is a little late for the time of the season or we could spin it on its head and say I'm incredibly early for AW17. Either way this look is a classic one, so you could say this is more of an informative blog/ style tipper ... Actually that's what I will call this - "Style Tipper" and it ALLLLL about my leopard print coat which despite purchasing over 6 weeks ago (hence why I'm late) I just haven't had time to wear it or the right moment. The moment was Saturday when I was heading out shopping with my mum.   This actual coat was purchased from Matalan and is no longer available, however most high street stores still have similar Leopard print coats available. If you can't get your hands on one now, wait til Autumn and ensure  you snap one up as this classic coat is a fashion trend year in and year out. I am so happy I have this coat as I know now I will have it for years to come. How would you wear leopard print? Some people ...

Gucci leather belt with interlocking G buckle

Image
Happy birthday to me! This year I have celebrated a milestone and I decided to buy myself a birthday gift. To me, from me. Gucci. I have wanted a Gucci belt for the most of 2016 and decided to go for it once and for all. Originally I wanted the leather belt with double G but after its mass popularity they are hard to get hold of AND I decided to get something a little more classic as I quite like the classic look and plus the style won't go out of fashion. When I was trying it on in Gucci I immediately fell in love with it and it was in stock. The belt comes in a gorgeous monochrome box and a dust bag to keep it clean and safe.   This weekend my prized belt had its debut and I absolutely loved styling it. I started with a heavily embroidered dress and faux fur and completely changed the next day to a 80s inspired look. With the belt being so classic it is easier to create different looks and I am looking forward to wearing all black and let the belt speak...

Elinna over the knee boots from Aldo

Image
To say I am a boot lover is an understatement, I'm one of those people that adores winter for the sheer fact I can glam it up with OTK boots and I do exactly that every year. I love to invest in OTK boots every year as they are a classic trend and I just love everything about them. My latest edition are these beauties from Aldo. So stunning, elegant and rich in colour they really are a winter wardrobe staple and if you treat them well they will last a few years. The colour I have are "Bordeaux" which is a gorgeous deep red. These boots sit over you knee, they have a flat heel and zips at the ankle for ease when putting them on. I love to wear them mainly with tight fitting dresses and skirts with or without tights. This particular colour is my favourite winter colour. Reasons to purchase Elinna boots from Aldo: 1. Stunning statement boots. 2. Comes in 4 colours BUT the pair I have is my favorite. 3. They sit over the knee and have a girly touch...

Calista popper lounge set - Bowsboutiques.com

Image
This lounge suit could be a serious game changer for your wardrobe and not just for this season! Lounge suits are timeless and this one from Bowsboutiques.com is the perfect combo of stylish and comfort. By the way I love both aspects. I have bought a couple of tracksuits this year but they tend to look super casual and sometimes I want to feel comfy but still look stylish. Bowsboutiques.com gave me this gorgeous one and I have a feeling I am going to get soooo much use out of it. It comes as a two piece suit, it's soft and elasicated. The top is oversized and the bottoms are tightly fitted and has a popper button on the sleeves and a cluster of popper buttons down each side of the top which is lovely added detail to the lounge suit.       When I wore my lounge suit I wanted to look a little rock chic so I wore studded biker boots and a black choker. This suit is great to lounge at home, pop to the shops or style with heeled boots, the options are en...
