The Pom Pom Heels Edit

Image
Pom Pom heels have to be the best invention in recent years. After having my baby girl I have had to have a revamp of my wardrobe and update my style. I found I was having a slight identity crisis.. and wanted to be more fun!! I was casually shopping in Topshop whilst on the phone and suddenly these pom pom heels caught my eye! These are the epitome of FUN! gorgeous dusky pink and large pom poms. Love Love LOVE!! These are the high-streets answer to the famous Aquazzura powder puff heels! I absolutely love finding dupes and this one I want to share with as many people as possible. Aquazzura heels can set you back around £500 where these are just £39!! I decided to let my imagination run wild with my recent outfit... I wore the pom pom shoes with a floral print dress and a dusky pink faux fur bag also from Topshop. I haven't felt this way about a style I have created since before I was pregnant! for once I felt great! Not only did I have the best dupes ...

Chanel dupe Braided Ballerinas from Zara

Image
I am a huge Chanel fan - it's literally my favourite designer for several reasons, the classic style, the use of monochrome, pearls, tweed and the history. However it's hard to keep up with Chanels prices so I have found THE BEST Chanel dupes. These gorgous shoes are from my other favourite place -Zara. They are monochrome braided ballerinas at a fraction of the price. They have padding in the sole, round toe and cute white bows (very Chanel) I love finds like this and the minute I saw them I knew I would love a pair... I am a huge lover of monochrome and I cannot wait to wear these with black skinny jeans, an oversized shirt and a few rows of faux pearls. These are brand new from Zara and they will go like hot cakes!! Why should you invest in these Chanel dupes? 1. Monochrome goes with pretty much everything. 2. Look like Chanel pumps. 3. Comfy. 4. Classic style. 5. Great for spring/ summer 17. 6. Excellent value for money. 7. Comes in all black. ...

Elinna over the knee boots from Aldo

Image
To say I am a boot lover is an understatement, I'm one of those people that adores winter for the sheer fact I can glam it up with OTK boots and I do exactly that every year. I love to invest in OTK boots every year as they are a classic trend and I just love everything about them. My latest edition are these beauties from Aldo. So stunning, elegant and rich in colour they really are a winter wardrobe staple and if you treat them well they will last a few years. The colour I have are "Bordeaux" which is a gorgeous deep red. These boots sit over you knee, they have a flat heel and zips at the ankle for ease when putting them on. I love to wear them mainly with tight fitting dresses and skirts with or without tights. This particular colour is my favourite winter colour. Reasons to purchase Elinna boots from Aldo: 1. Stunning statement boots. 2. Comes in 4 colours BUT the pair I have is my favorite. 3. They sit over the knee and have a girly touch...

Stradivarius Cut-out track ankle boots

Image
Are you a boots lover like me? If you answered yes - keep reading! I realised just this weekend, funnily enough whilst wearing these boots that Autumn is one of my favourite seasons... Why? The gorgeous colour leaves, green, golden yellow and red all delicately lining the roads is one of many reasons but also the chance to buy NEW boots!!! I love boots. Ankle boots, knee boots, over the knee boots, flat boots, high heeled boots, studded, buckles.. You name it, I love it! I normally stick to black boots and periodically I purchase brown boots but this season I am seriously addicted to burgundy/ dark red so guess what... I bought burgundy boots!   These boots are just gorgeous.. They have gold buckle detail and it's not just for show you can adjust these to your ankle size. There is also a zip on the inner side of the boots to be able to get them on and off with ease. I am usually a size 4 (37) and these are true to size and fit me perfectly. Top 5 reasons to pur...

Limited edition patterned River Island backless loafers

Image
I always find shoes are a great investment - they can immediately transform a look the minute you slip them on, so when I set out to buy new shoes they need to tick a few boxes and I ask myself the following.... - Do they make a statement? - Will they mix and match well with my current wardrobe? - Are they comfy? - Will I get sufficient use of them? My recent purchase answered yes to all mentioned above and there's extra brownie points with these shoes.   Following the trends from the designer houses River Island have launched a beautiful range of backless loafers inspired by Gucci. I remember when I was around 13 years old and backless loafers were all the rage then and I loved them, so when I saw the return of the backless loafer you could say I was quite excited. It reminded me of when I was backless loafer obsessed I had them in lilac, baby blue, black and white... Yes a pair for every outfit! This time round however I'm just dedicating myself to one pair an...

It's all about the shoes - Dorothy (The wizard of Oz)

Image
A couple of months back I purchased a gorgeous pair of Red Ghille lace up pointed flats from River Island. The colour immediately drew me to try them on and once they were on I suddenly felt the "must have" feeling. The shoes are of course my favourite colour Red and a million outfits sprung to mind that I could make these my statement piece. They look so fierce and bold and only £28!  Feeling like Dorothy  The first day I wore them I immediately wanted to Instagram them and so I did with the caption "Feeling like Dorothy". Looking down seeing the red shoes I felt I could click my heels and anything was possible.  I'm going to be honest when I tried them on for the first time I wasnt entirely convinced these would be the comfiest of shoes but once I had worn them for several hours I was pleasantly surprised. Just make sure you do not tie them up too tight. Lace up flats are currently on trend and a lot of high street shops ar...

Simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance - Coco Chanel

Image
Chanel boots  Waking up on Christmas morning I didn't expect to be the proud owner of Chanel boots.  Although my husband is frequently reminded of my obsession/ love/ need for Chanel I couldn't believe my eyes, I almost felt like it was all a dream. When I unravelled the beautiful packaging and ribbons there they were! Gorgeous Chanel boots. Apart from sunglasses, make up and perfume this is my first real piece of Chanel fashion. Designers like Chanel tend to come up small, even though I vary between size 4 (37) and 5 (38) in these boots I am a size 5. The boots are made from extremely soft velvety leather. Bang on trend with their chunky heel and above the ankle I couldn't wait to wear them. Chanel boots detail  The boots are classic with their understated signature cc in gold on the outer sides and have a zip for ease on the inner side. I have only worn them once but already I know they will be comfortable to wear on nights out. I look...
