My Autumn wish List - The Luxury Classic Edit

Image
Autumn is fast approaching and its time for new clothes. Whether it be items you are recycling from last year or items you are lusting for the new season its still an exciting time for fashionistas across the globe! I like to set up a wish list (of course majority of the items stay on the list) but I love to challenge myself to see if its at all possible to find a good hughstreet version. But the beauty of a wish list is that its my inspiration and hopefully inspires you too... its a window into the luxury world without having to pay for any of it... and a girl can dream right? First up - The Burberry Aviator  Ever since these jackets hit the runway I have dreamt of owning one. I love all the buckle detail, the lining, the colour and the fact it would be your autumn/ winter wardrobe staple for years to come. It really is an investment piece as it doesn't come cheap... try over the 1K mark BUT it is a masterpiece and I bet it would keep you lovely and warm. I could...

My Spring Wish List - The Luxury Edit

Image
Finally spring has sprung! its taken a while but we are finally there and now that we have had our one day of sunshine we are all set right? wrong! I haven't been inspired whatsoever and I have heard a lot of people feel the same way. Ive decided to compile a Luxury Spring Wish List.. I figured I do one at Christmas so why not for Spring? Fashion As Spring is approaching its time to think about the "Tote bag" you will need, yes need! they are great for the spring AND summer months... I am in awe of this one form YSL - I love the dark Khaki which would look amazing with beige and white tones. It has a detachable purse inside and a cute gold YSL tag. This would definitely be my ultimate bag.. if this isn't quite your colour..it does come in other colours just check out YSL.com. IF this bag is too expensive I have actually found an alternative from Matalan! Its reversible grey and light pink and a tiny portion of the price of a YSL! yes you can thank me...

L'oreal Balmain Lipstick - Glamazone

Image
Every so often L'Oreal release a special limited edition range. Earlier this year I became a proud owner of the L'Oreal Beauty and the Beast range, which I absolutely loved. Now just a few weeks ago L'Oreal released a range in-conjuction with Balmain. Balmain is a popular luxury brand which I am in awe of and I literally couldn't believe they were releasing an affordable range. All the designer houses recently have released a beauty range and the lipsticks tend to be £25 - £29 but the ones from L'Oreal / Balmain are a steal at £12.99. Originally they were only available in Harvey Nicholls and now they can be purchased in Boots!!   I chose 3 - but I have only worn 1 so far. There is a large variety of colours but I went for the dark dramatic colours. This year I have decided to go for a completely out there style, even though I love nude lipsticks and vibrant reds.. something inside me has decided I want a more dark intense look. It may be...

Heart shaped Miu Miu sunglasses

Image
New year. New sunglasses. Every year I love to get a new sunnies and I don't care where from... It can be from Forever 21 high street store to a designer store.. It depends what grabs me and what looks good. This year is the year of Miu Miu. Why Miu Miu? Their designs are quirky and out there and I wanted a break from the normal designers. These are not like your regular sunnies these are heart shaped, quirky, classic Miu Miu and elegant. If you purchase from a Miu Miu concession/ boutique then the glasses will be packaged in their classic dusty pink and gold bag with ribbon. The sunglasses come in a velvety hard case and also has a soft case which is quite rare when buying sunglasses from designers it's usually one or the other. They have a black heart shaped frame and gradient lense, a soft gold detail and white. Why should you invest in Miu Miu? 1. They are fun and flirty. 2. Key investment peice if your looking for something different. 3. Clas...

Pearly nude false nails from House of Holland

Image
I have never been one to get false nails, the most I would get are Gels before a long holiday to save me topping up or redoing them whilst abroad. And actually I had Minx nails... Remember them?? I loved them. Anyway back to false nails - I look the new pointed shape which is SOOO hot right now and to be honest I am getting bored of playing safe. I popped to boots and found these gorgeous nails. They are nude, white and gold! Love, love, love them. They are expensive but boots currently have them on offer - if you buy one pack you get the second half price which is Defo worth it. There was a Large selection and I believe that Boots are clearing old stock and making space for the new stock. This particular style is apart of the new range. The reason these caught my eyes were the fact they are not all the same design, they are quite classic with a pearl detail (I'm a massive pearl fan) yet they are so funky , so different and definitely not safe!! Mine. I p...

My visit to LFW festival at 108 The Strand

Image
Back in January my best friend and I discussed attending The London Fashion Week Festival, we both haven't been before and thought it would be a great day out. I was extremely lucky as she bought me my ticket as my birthday present, the silver package and upgraded to front row tickets for the catwalk... So you can imagine I was extremely excited. Upon arrival we were given wrist bands and our package included Vivienne Westwood designed tote bags. As we entered we were 40 minutes away from attending the "Trend" catwalk show so we decided to scope the place out... We saw a few stools and then headed to the show. Scheduled at 4pm we had great seats and it was all very exciting. The show was all about the ruffles and print trend all of which could be purchased at 108 The Strand. The spectators were all taking pictures and filming the show, it was a great atmosphere and I fell in love with two outfits - the red trousers, embroidered jacket and lace top (a...

A little spray of luxury - Decadence by Marc Jacobs

Image
Every time I go away or my husband goes away I tend to buy/ receive a new perfume... So much so my collection is growing faster than I'm using them.. And my beautiful glass shelf in my bathroom is becoming quite congested! My recent purchase and new found love is a special perfume by Marc Jacobs and the beauty about this one is its too precious for my glass shelf and instead has taken pride of place on my dressing table... Ooh special I know! The perfume will now always remind me of my trip to Santorini as it purchased it on the way back as a little cheeky treat and this perfume is - Marc Jacobs - Decadence. Decadence - meaning " unrestrained or excessive self - indulgence" That's exactly what this perfume is, its pricey, it comes in a gorgeous green velvety box with gold writing. The actual bottle itself is pure luxury.. And resembles Marc Jacobs iconic shaped bag with a gorgeous gold chain and a black silk tassel.. Can you see why it deserves to be on m...

A true classic - Le Pliage Backpack from Longchamp

Image
I have always been a huge fan of Longchamp over the years mainly because they keep true to their brand and produce classic, timeless bags of several shapes and sizes. They also release a more adventurous print every now and again to fit the season - I bought an amazing tiger print large Longchamp handbag several years ago in Nice, i still have it and it is stunning but it's not a bag I can use regularly - I like to save it and just use it now and again. Longchamp have a classic range that is timeless and my recent purchase wasn't a handbag instead I opted for a backpack - the Le Pliage in black. It's such a great invention! Can be folded into a tiny bag, great to take on vacations or used for weekends away/ shopping or even work..with these types of bags the options really are endless! At the moment every look is completed with a rucksack... These bags do come in other colours but I always steer towards black as I feel it goes with a lot of the clothes I own and...
