The Pom Pom Heels Edit

Image
Pom Pom heels have to be the best invention in recent years. After having my baby girl I have had to have a revamp of my wardrobe and update my style. I found I was having a slight identity crisis.. and wanted to be more fun!! I was casually shopping in Topshop whilst on the phone and suddenly these pom pom heels caught my eye! These are the epitome of FUN! gorgeous dusky pink and large pom poms. Love Love LOVE!! These are the high-streets answer to the famous Aquazzura powder puff heels! I absolutely love finding dupes and this one I want to share with as many people as possible. Aquazzura heels can set you back around £500 where these are just £39!! I decided to let my imagination run wild with my recent outfit... I wore the pom pom shoes with a floral print dress and a dusky pink faux fur bag also from Topshop. I haven't felt this way about a style I have created since before I was pregnant! for once I felt great! Not only did I have the best dupes ...

The Floral Dress Edit

Image
The Floral Dress Trend Gone are the days where we opt for something simple, why? because the floral trend is here and it is pretty much taking over. Im a huge fan of this trend, I have already blogged about Floral bags and now I am blogging about the trend in the form of a dress. And what a dress it is. The dress I have and where its from: 4 weeks ago I was shopping (well waiting for a friend) and decided to pop into the shops and have a mooch. I spotted this floral dress and wondered if I had enough time to try it on. I quickly headed to the changing room to give it a twirl and it soon became MINE. I originally bought it to wear with flatforms until It dawned on me I had a christening/ 1st Birthday and this dress would be perfect!     How I styled the dress: I  really wanted a fun and flirty look. Something inside me wanted to be more adventurous and with floral you can be! That is the beauty of this trend. The dress has a variation of colour, blus...

The Summer Straw Bag Edit

Image
We all love a new handbag, right? Any excuse to purchase a new one, right? Well keep reading! I have you covered. As the seasons change, so should your bags/ accessories.. what looked good in winter may not look good in Summer! So I have ditched my black cross body and recently opted for a floral one (given to me by Krisp) and now I'm on to the Straw bag trend.. one I have been using over for a while now... These bags are EVERYWHERE and if I could have them all I would. I have been watching the trend and a popular choice are the round shaped cross body straw bags which are amazing but I was drawn to this little basket style one and I am so happy with it!! Why a straw bag this summer? They are bang on trend, they complete that summers day look you have longed for and will make a great accessory if you are jetting abroad. The one I chose is light weight, it is fun and it is functional! Need I say much more? I chose mine from Zara, they have a great range when...

The Dungaree Style Edit

Image
Dungarees - you either love them or you hate them. You can look like the coolest person about or a 5 year old and I'm hoping I'm more the coolest person about but I will let you decide. I was out shopping with friend and I was explaining to her that I wasn't feeling comfortable with my style at the moment (I blame the post pregnancy body) and we were having a mooch in Topshop when I laid eyes on these dungarees.. I only tried them on to just try "something different" AND well I ended up loving the style! I tried/bought a size bigger than I am as I wanted the dungarees to be baggy as I felt more comfortable that way.. When I bought the dungarees I had to purchase the top I tried it on with it as I felt it really completed the look. Its also from Topshop and I loved the fact it morphed a masculine style outfit into something a little more girly as the top was cropped and has puffed sleeves. Dugarees look awesome with flatforms (as pictur...

Spliced D Ring Midaxi Dress from Topshop

Image
Presenting to you the statement dress of this summer!!! I am currently ditching my jeans in favour of more dresses and floaty skirts. Why? I don't see myself as being that girly and I have spent so many years wearing jeans and a top and yes its finally got the better of me and I can't do it any longer. I NEED pretty dresses and skirts - life is short and I want to mix things up. Anyway enough of me and more about this dress. The minute I saw it I loved it. Heres why - 1. The dress is a mixture of two prints - whats not to love about that? 2. It has a split at the front which makes walking easy, the dress flows and it isn't all one length either. 3. Ruffle details - eeeeeeeek - Love it. 4. Back detail of criss cross lace up - it adds the final touch. I find the dress is flirty and fun and I can't wear it to the max. Dresses like these I love to wear biker boots/ studded boots or anything heavy to contrast the pretty and delicate theme. The fi...

Eva Large Tote from Skinny Dip London

Image
Do you ever pick up something just to see what it looks like in the mirror and then fall deeply madly in love? It tends to happen to me quite a lot but this time it was something I don't usually go for. This bag is very much a statement and I initially thought -Great for holiday/ possibly beach bag. I found it in Topshop in Westfield Stratford in their Skinny Dip section and as I had a Topshop voucher I couldn't resist. I love the fact the bag is a different tone in the light - predominately green with a hint of gold and blue - I call it my bag of dreams and I feel like the mermaids will be after me. Incase you didn't know as I tend to ramble on - I just love telling stories.. Anyway I have decided to use this bag for the WEEKEND - to be honest I cannot wait for the summer thats just silly it will be wasted!!   Its really hard to show the beauty of this bag but I can tell you it was a huge hit when I wore it because no joke 3 independent girls asked me w...

Oversized Hoop earrings by Freedom at Topshop

Image
At the weekend I was heading to a salsa class. Yes I said salsa class..I am not the most confident of dancers but I like to try new things and get into the spirit. Whilst out shopping I was trawling the Freedom Jewellry from Topshop - I love their range and I came across a large set of hooped earrings. I seriously thought to myself - these would look fab for salsa! So naturally I bought them and was super excited to get my salsa on. I didn't have long to wait, only a day and I am soooooo glad I bought them! They are silver. They are large. they are simple. Sometimes less is more and I love the fact these are literally just oversized hoop earrings. I really felt the part at Salsa and loved the different look they created for me. I think it has been years since I have worn such large hooped earrings? I have recently worn large tasseled but I seriously think these are a game changer. So much so on Monday I was off out with friends and I found myself reaching ...

Topshop Madness Boots in black

Image
Ok I have already admitted it on Instagram and I it's officially on my blog... I am obsessed with these boots. So originally I posted about the white version (I hunted down) then I started dreaming about the black... At the time they had all sold out so I was gutted.. And then they have come back AND there is also a tan version!! Well I got the black as I am very monochrome obsessed and it was natural to get the boots of my dreams in both colours. I am still quite shocked that I actually own both considering how difficult it has been to get them.   I adore the fact they are covered in silver studs large and small and have the cutest wrap around buckles which mean they can be be worn with fishnets in cooler weather but also be worn during the summer month, day time, night time, shopping, festivals - you name it you wear it. That's exactly what I intend to do as they are not cheap but need to be worn at every occasion possible as they are literally the best stat...

Image
Infactuated. Obsessed. In love. Can you feel that way about a pair of boots? Well when you find yourself frantically phoning Selfridges to see if the Topshop concession still have THE boots that have sold out online then the answer is yes. Yes I feel that way about these boots. Maybe seeing them sold out made me want them more? Who knows. Who cares. They are mine and I cannot wait to run them into the ground. I even want them in black but again they are sold out!!! So why blog about them? They might come back... Or if not then take these boots as inspiration.   They are sooooooo me. I love the fact they are cut out - veryVogue and I can't forget the fact they are full of studs. Statement or what!!   With these boots the first time I wore them I wore lots of pearls and a cluster of diamanté rings ..... So rock n roll I know. The boots do come at a price BUT these boots can be worn from now until autumn in my eyes. The western style is in - so if you p...
