The Boiler Suit Edit - AW18

Image
The Boiler Suit I think this new trend raises some eyebrows and is slightly like marmite - you will either love it or hate it and thats OK. Not every trend is for everyone but sometimes you need to break out of your comfort zone and be more like The Style Bubble! Last week I hit the shops in search for some new items for my aw18 collection, I'm done with summer shopping and I'm moving on to next season. Don't get me wrong I am sad to see summer go but equally I am extremely excited for the prospect of chilly mornings/ OTK boots and dark lipsticks. Back to the boiler suit.... There I was in Stradivarius trying on a pair of Shorts and an oversized hoody and honestly I hated it.. The skorts were tight and showed too much and the jumper was lumpy....I just feel like since Aria my body has completely changed and I'm constantly trying to see what works for me- I picked up the Boiler Suit just to see what it would look like..not thinking I would actually go home w...

Zip up Bodycon dress from Zara

Image
A few months ago I was invited to an awards night.. I have attended the last two years and so glad I was invited for the third year. Then came the panic mode of "What to wear". I knew what colour dress I was required to wear which actually really helps and narrows it down.. its just finding THE dress. I knew I had some statement shoes I purchased from Zara last year that I was dying to wear again so atlas that was sorted. My go to place for most things is Zara - I just love it there and shock horror this is wear my dress is from! I picked it up in the shop, walked around looking for other items and a lady stopped and asked me where I got the dress from.. therefore I knew it had to be special..maybe it was a sign. The dress is a bodycon style, it has a thicker than usual fabric which helps to pull you in slightly and is also extremely expandable. Its black, Has frill details around the strap and the top of the dress and is finished off with a gorgeous gold zip...

Leopard print A - Line midi skirt from Marks and Spencer's

Image
The day before Mother's Day I had to pop to Marks and Spencer's ... Not for this skirt.. For flowers of course. I love their flowers so much and I picked up the most Georgous roses for my mother (leading onto how I got to this skirt) so there I was at the till point ready to pay and THIS skirt caught my eye. I did a double take, ummed and arrrd... The cashier was ready to serve me when I asked her to hang on whilst I grabbed the skirt of the rails. I ran to a mirror and pictured it with a white top, blazer and black shoes for work.. The rest as you know is history. Needless to say, I am a fan of animal print. I am not a huge fan of colours but leopard print seems to be a key print that catches my eye and really transforms my wardrobe. It adds life, sass and is consistently a classic print between seasons. The skirt has an elasticated waist and the length is midi.. I've only recently started to wear midi skirts which makes me super excited to wear this ...

Exaggerate no 141 false lashes from Eylure

Image
I am a quite the competition queen... I love to enter them and I really love if I win them.. My recent win were these stunning lashes from Eylure. I don't use false lashes often but when I do I love them to make a real statement and these do exactly that. The lashes are called "Exaggerate no 141" There are so many different styles available but these are full, long and don't actually look too fake.   Once applied I topped the lashes with a lick of mascara and I went for bold eyeliner as I wanted really dramatic eyes for a night out. So if you really fancy some dramatic lashes for a night out.... These are the ones! :) xx

Embroidered floral plumetis blouse by Bershka

Image
During Autumn I love lace and sheer fabrics, they seem to add a little sass yet you still remain elegant. I am not a massive fan of bearing all so for me delicate sheer fabrics and lace are the one. My latest top is from on of my favourite shops... Bershka. Admittedly I did the ultimate mistake of seeing it in store and then dreaming about it (if this happens to you - JUST BUY IT - you can always change your mind later). Luckily I returned and managed to still get it :) yes big sigh of relief!! The top is slightly cropped, it flares out on the body and has stunning floral embroidered detail (bang on trend) I absolutely love how delicate the embroidery is and it really works well with the dotty sheer material. The sleeves are to dye for - so much detail for one top. I am usually a UK 8/10 but I took a size medium for this top as sometimes Bershka clothing can come up a little small.   Why should you invest in this top? 1. Stunning design - delicate and fu...

Bershka Bodysuits are on point!

Image
Bershka is seriously one of my favourite high street shops, I first found it many years ago in Puerta Banus and was so shocked when they opened a store in Oxford Street London. Since then I really haven't looked back! Everytime I go shopping I always head to Bershka, I literally always seem to find something in there and here I am blogging about my new find. Everyone is still bodysuit crazy.. Including me. I have bought quite a few in the past year but I am constantly on the search for the next one. At the moment I am all things green.. Yes green! Don't get me wrong Black Is My ultimate colour - I love black clothing but I go through phases until I utterly exhaust it.. So be warned and prepared a lot of green items will be up on the blog. On Saturday I visited Bershka and I found a gorgeous green bodysuit WITH ruffles.. Ok yes - another obsession to add to my list - ruffle lover.. But They add such a girly touch - what's not to love?   Reasons why I reccomemd...

Monochrome in Milan - my third night in my favourite fashion city

Image
I am the biggest monochrome lover going, I seriously love the contrast of the two colours together and in every trip I take , you will always see a monochrome outfit is packed. This year has been heavily about cropped tops and high waisted trousers and I am a big fan of this look. I have recently felt a little insecure about my body shape and outfits like these have made me feel a lot better. Going to a city I am not familiar with I didn't fancy wearing small dresses or even clothes that were too tight because of the humidity that's why for the evenings I had packed two pairs of high waisted trousers.  The White trousers are from Zara (one of my favourite places to shop) they are cropped, high waisted with a white belt attached that can be tied in a bow. I tie the bow on the side as I felt it was quite a lot of material to go into the middle. They have a rouched hem round the waist and feel quite loose until you tie the belt. The bottom of the trousers are not cig...

Hot Pink skirt alert - spur of the moment River Island Purchase

Image
I love dressing up for a night out but even more so when I buy a spur of the moment item and mentally create an outfit in my head. I love heading home asking myself ..will it look like the image I have created in my mind!? Luckily on Saturday night it all worked out! I purchased this stunning skirt from River Island during the day and was captured buy it's hot pink colour. I don't usually wear colours but for some reason I really fancied this and loved the style too. It's a slip on skirt which looks like a wrap skirt, however it quite an illusion as there is a zip at the back. The skirt parts in the middle at the front and hangs longer at the back. (Heels are best suited with this skirt as it elongates your legs) Underneath there is another layer (slip) connected to each side seam which felt slightly tighter than the skirt itself. Rather than buy this in my usual size 8 I decided to go for a size 10. The size 8 was figure hugging but I knew that there would be an is...

My latest must have! - Rose Gold accessories from Accessorize

Image
Welcome to my latest obsession... Rose Gold everything! Why am I so obsessed? I am a lover of all things gold and love a touch of silver but recently Rose Gold is climbing the ranks of importance in my spring/ summer collection. Last weekend I had a big night out planned with the girls and I really wanted to wear something new.. Don't we all when we go out? But sometimes your bank balance can't always forfill your lust to buy a whole new outfit so I like to take the opportunity to get creative! We all have our favourite LBD (little black dress) in the dark depths of our wardrobes and one of my favourites I have only worn once..so out it came.. But I needed a statement piece. I usually opt for coloured heels and bright lipstick but this time I changed things up..     Every time I walk into Accessorize I feel like a kid in a candy shop. I circulate the store looking at every collection and then I feel myself falling in love. I popped into Accessorize over a week ago and...

Boohoo Bodysuit obsession

Image
This year I have rekindled an old flame of mine - the Bodysuit! Every so often I find myself going bodysuit mad and I think it's that time again and this time round it has been with Boohoo.com. I bought one just before Christmas and have worn it a couple of times and purchased one again a couple of weeks ago. Why am I becoming obsessed again? Why not! They are currently the rage, come in all kinds of designs and are a good piece to mix up with different styles. They are super comfy to wear and can be dressed up for a night out or dressed down with a pair of jeans - either way they are a must for your wardrobe! My recent find was the "Sophie Wrap Front Halter Neck Bodysuit" in black. (Currently I am all things black) but once the colder weather passes I would love to get the same bodysuit in another colour. I wore this to surprise birthday party and black is always a winner.   I loved the fact it had a low back and the front being a halter neck kept the bodysuit...
