Ink me stamp tattoo by Rimmel London - The Verdict

Image
Guess who has a new toy? When I say toy I actually mean makeup. Yes I've broken my "I have enough makeup/ Im not buying anymore make up" rule. BUT to be fair this is an exception! Its a Stamp tattoo!! have you got one? no? well I do and I LOVEEEE it. Purchased on Friday I actually just wanted a blue eyeliner and stumbled across this. There was another tattoo shape.. a diamond I think but I opted for the star one. Boots are currently doing 3 for 2 so I picked both items up and a mascara. So back to the stamp tattoo I decided to give it a test run.. I had a mini surprise party at mine for my mum and well I saw it as an opportunity to get creative because LIFE IS THE OCCASION. Handy tips: DO NOT press too hard or the star has a circle around it - I made this mistake. Be as creative as you can!! I mixed the stars with my blue eyeliner also from Rimmel. Buy it if you are heading to a festival or party island.   Verdict: Its an easy way...

L'oreal Balmain Lipstick - Glamazone

Image
Every so often L'Oreal release a special limited edition range. Earlier this year I became a proud owner of the L'Oreal Beauty and the Beast range, which I absolutely loved. Now just a few weeks ago L'Oreal released a range in-conjuction with Balmain. Balmain is a popular luxury brand which I am in awe of and I literally couldn't believe they were releasing an affordable range. All the designer houses recently have released a beauty range and the lipsticks tend to be £25 - £29 but the ones from L'Oreal / Balmain are a steal at £12.99. Originally they were only available in Harvey Nicholls and now they can be purchased in Boots!!   I chose 3 - but I have only worn 1 so far. There is a large variety of colours but I went for the dark dramatic colours. This year I have decided to go for a completely out there style, even though I love nude lipsticks and vibrant reds.. something inside me has decided I want a more dark intense look. It may be...

Tropic Heat Highlighter in 02 Active Peach from KiKO

Image
KIKO has to be one of my favourite cosmetic shops. They are always releasing great products and have some great beauty staples. I tend to always purchase my eyebrow pencil from there and their lipgloss crayons. I can guarantee when I go to restock I always end up with more than I intended and this time I bought THE most amazing highlighter. The Highlighter is apart of their Tropic Heat capsule collection to celebrate their 20th anniversary. when I played around with their testers and did some swatches I knew I had to get the 02 Active Peach colour.   This is a gorgeous special memory formula. It feels like gel when you dab your finger in the pot and when you apply to your cheek bones it feels like a cool gel that turns into a non sticky highlighter.   It is a striking rose gold colour that really makes a statement and great for summer cheeks. The day I bought it I had to wear it on a night out and it adds subtle drama to a simple look. I like to foc...

L'Oreal Beauty And The Beast Lipstick

Image
"she warned him not to be deceived by appearances, for beauty is found within" I am literally the luckiest girl in the world because I am now the proud owner of this years MUST HAVE l'oreal Beauty and the Beast themed lipsticks. Yes they exist!!! I'm lucky because they are my Valentines Day pressie from my love ( after numerous hints) he actually bought them. This is why I'm smiling from cheek to cheek. They are not easy to get hold of at all and now I have 2, I opted for "Belle" as its a classic red (my fave colour lippie) AND she's one of my all time favourite princesses!! So much so my best friend asked me to be Belle last year for her princess party parade! The packaging is a gorgous velvet wrap, red and mini gold Belles all over it. It's just so pretty and so magical I'm almost to scared to actually start wearing it. I have only had it a day! The second stunning lipstick I went for because I love both the colour ...

Velvet Passion Matte Lipstick by KIKO

Image
Lipsticks are seriously my guilty pleasure... I feel I just can't get enough of them... Especially KIKO Milano lipsticks. My recent find is "Velvet Passion" matte lipstick - I absolutely LOVE the name. It comes in a aluminium and rose gold packaging which I adore... Rose gold seems to be Popular amongst beauty brands and their packaging. The end of the lipstick has been carefully designed for easy application which I find quite interesting as I haven't had a lipstick shaped liked this yet.   The colour really grabbed me - it's dark and mysterious, it's matte and has a slight shade of berry. The first time I wore this was during the day, YES it screamed sass and I loved it. It completed my outfit well and was perfect on a sunny winters day. Why should you invest in "Velvet Passion" from KIKO? 1. Excellent value for money. 2. Matte lipstick - hottest trend for lips right now. 3. Stunning colour / deep brown/berry look - the ...

Red Diorific Matte Fluid by Dior

Image
Every year I love to purchase the latest "in" red lipstick/ lip colour. My collection is quite large and I always tend to steer towards a nice designer red... You could say it's my yearly treat and I find it's well worth it. Saturday's purchase admittedly was an impulse one but its one I am soooo glad I got my hands on! It's new for 2016, it looks so pretty AND it's limited edition. Presenting to you the NEW Diorific Matte Fluid - colour 004 Luxury. This gorgeous lip fluid, looks like a gloss (initially) but you will quickly learn it is more of a lip tint. This colour looks much better after 2 - 3 layers depending on how red you want to go.. I love my lips to be bright red so I went for 3 applications. It's incredibly easy to apply and can double up as a cheek tint which is a fab idea if you have limited space in your clutch on a night out. Why should you invest in Diorific Matte Fluid? ...

KIKO - Unlimited stylo lipstick in Burgundy

Image
Kiko has to be one of my favourite brands, This year it has taken over my makeup bag - I have already bought so much from there and cannot speak highly enough about my brow pencil (already blogged about) or my crayon gloss pencils. Every now and again KIKO run promotions and this is when I found this lipstick. It was a few weeks back now but it's one of those colours that was just coming into season and really caught my eye. For most of this year I have been creating fuller lips with different nudes and really fancied something a little different. The lipstick has pretty silver packaging, very simple, stylish and elegant. It's called - unlimited stylo 12 - burgundy - this lipstick is not only a gorgeous colour but is also long lasting, it has depth and can either look extremely glam or a slight hint of goth - it all depends on how you wear it. I wore it on Friday with all black, a band tee and simple makeup, I felt abit gothic with all the dark deep colours and...

Game changer Alert! Cleopatra's Kiss highlighting Palette from Sleek

Image
Over the last year I have found myself immersed in highlighting palettes, creams, powders.. You name it and I am willing to give them a go, like most women are because highlighting has never been so important!  I recently saw a picture of Sleeks Cleopatra's Kiss highlighting palette on Twitter and when I saw it I WANTED it.. I hunted it down in my local town and purchased it from Boots. The outside packaging is very simple and you have to ensure you select the right palette. The palette is encased in gold and looks gorgeous in my makeup bag and would look stunning if you have a dressing table.. It is very simple but bold. The actual highlighters themselves are just stunning, magical colours.. I love everyone of them and on the back of the packaging are handy steps On how to use each colour. The picture on the left Represents the true colours and my favourite shade is Sphinx to highlight across my brow bone - it's a gorgeous velvety gold colour. I also love ...

The £1.50 Matte Lipstick from PRIMARK

Image
The latest trend that has been game strong for a while now is Matte lips, it used to be all about high shine and glossy lips but there are put and matte lips are IN. I have slowly been building up my matte lipstick collection but I never really thought my next purchase would have been PRIMARK and I definitely didn't imagine it would cost just £1.50.   I am totally crazy about all kinds of nude shades so I picked the one pictured ( it's looks more of a brown tone in the picture but comes out lighter on your lips). I was sceptical purchasing this lipstick but I was pleasantly surprised and here's why; 1. The price is too good to be true... So reasonably priced. 2. Matte lips are hot right now - usually matte lipsticks can feel quite dry on your lips but this one actually keeps your lips quite moisturised. 3. Scented - it actually smells yummy - I think there may be vanilla notes in it. 4. The packAging - looks great, stylish and sleek. 5. Various colours in the...

Eyebrow game strong with KIKO

Image
Whilst the whole world is going crazy over eyebrows and hashtags like "#onfleek" are trending everyday, it can get quite confusing which product to use! I only started shaping my eyebrows at the start of last year but I have been testing a lot of different ones and this one I had to share! At the moment I am a super fan of KIKO Milano cosmetics and each time I go in store I find something new I fall in love with. My latest purchase is their Eyebrow Sculpt Automatic pencil in 05. There are several reason why I am a super fan of this eyebrow product. 1. The colour 05 - I have fairly light eyebrows and I like to go a few shades darker. The deeper the brow the better. I have dark roots and brown eyes and I feel a darker brow gives my face more depth. 2. It is incredibly easy to use. I am able to draw my desired shape of brow and then fill it in for a thickeryet defined look. 3. Easy to carry around with you. A lot of eyebrow kits can be quite big and take up spa...
