Brunch at Bills Restaurant

Image
After months and months of my sister and I tagging each other on Bills instagram feed.. I finally went for brunch. Sadly not with myself sister and I'm not sure just yet if she has clicked I have been.. but after she sees this I guess I will have some explaining to do! So Bills...was it worth the wait? I can confirm it was. why? they sell pancakes!! I mean they sell more than pancakes but that is always my first choice. 3 stacks or more.. you decide. I only went for 3 as I am "trying" to loose some weight and  opted for fruit instead of bacon. It was drenched in syrup! Useful tip - before starting the pancakes ask for extra syrup - when you eat them you will know why and can thank me later! As for My husband he went for smashed avocado with chilli - yes the healthier option!! We had 2 lattes (mine I had to ask to be weaker) and a fresh orange juice to share. The service was friendly and the food was quickly prepared.. great when you are really pecki...

My stay at The Landmark London Hotel

Image
This weekend I stayed at the Landmark Hotel in Marylebone. This 5 star luxury hotel is directly opposite Marylebone Station and has two entrances. the entrance at the front offers Valet parking and quick access to checking in. Upon arrival the staff were all friendly and informative and we were extremely pleased to hear that we had been upgraded free of charge. Exited to get to the room we went straight up and didn't Stop to look around the hotel simply because we couldn't wait to see what upgrade we had been treated to.   We stayed in the Marylebone Studio suite. Entering we fell in love. We had a lounge complete with a sofa, a large sitting chair, a desk with mirror and leather chair, a TV and coffee machine. And let's not forget our bottle of champagne (Apart of our package) There were large Juliet balcony windows that over looked the Landmarks BEAUTIFUL Winter Garden which if you didn't know is made up of Palm Trees. Here you can eat breakfast,...

Breakfast at Cafe Rouge

Image
It was Sunday morning, the sun was shining and I was feeling as fresh as a daisy... I woke up early and new I had a lot of errands to run. As I lay in bed and my stomach rumbled, I starting thinking about what's for breakfast? We usually do the weekly shop on a Sunday so the cupboards are bare. Then it dawned on me - why don't we make a change on a Sunday morning and go for breakfast/ brunch. We rocked up to Cafe Rouge somewhere I frequently visited a few years back, mainly for a coffee or dinner. We walked in, it was relatively quiet (10am) and we were seated inside by the window. The love the decor inside, black and white tiles, wines on display.. Very French. The waiter gave us the menus and asked if we would like to order a drink. Obviously I opted for a latte. Then I peered outside and the image of the sunshine and vacant spaces outside made me want to go out and watch the world go by. So we swiftly moved outside, my latte came shortly after and we ord...

Breakfast at Aubaine Selfridges

Image
Those that keep up with my blog know about my recent trip to Aubaine where I had lunch with my mother. Well here I am writing about breakfast at Aubaine because I simply cannot get enough. From the minute we arrive we are pleasantly greeted and welcomed.. I request the back of the restaurant as that's where the black and white tiles are and all the cascading flowers. I just love it. We Sat down and the breakfast menu is presented nicely on the table and there's lots to choose from but I immediately knew what I wanted.   I went for the French toast (it is my favourite breakfast) accompanied with blueberries drenched in syrup and cream and of course couldn't start the day without a latte!   The latte comes with one shot, just how I like it and it wasn't too hot it burns your mouth. It was topped off with latte art. The French toast was light and fluffy and the topping was seriously good... Again I'm dreaming of my next visit. The ambience of the...
