Sally Gingham Cold Shoulder Cotton Top from Boohoo

Image
Glorious gingham. My favourite print. Why? The classic gingham print is black and white and as you know....I LOVE black and white soooo much. Yes, you can resemble your mothers table cloth by wearing gingham but if that is the case then so be it. I am extremely excited to share this find from Boohoo with you as it has details I am madly in love with. I have already covered the fact it is "Gingham". Another reason I love this top is that the sleeves are rouched and have lace tie ups which means you can create bows for each arm. I love the cold shoulder style AND the top is very floaty and boho chic. This top will look fabulous on a casual Saturday afternoon  with black skinny jeans and ballerina pumps with Gingham lace up . OR in the summer it's perfect for a festival with high waisted ripped jean shorts, fish net knee socks and studded boots. Or wear on a night out with a leather pencil skirt, black killer heels and a red lippie. Literally th...

Gingham asymmetrical hem shirt dress from H&M

Image
I'm so excited about this dress. Two reasons - it's my favourite print Gingham and its Asymmetrical hem. I saw the dress in H&M in passing and was actually there for something else so I just picked it up and put it on my arm with all my other garments (I always do that) then I find a mirror and assess all items one by one. Without knowing when I looked in the mirror and thought this would be perfect for a Baptism I have coming up. I am so sick of buying occasional dresses and only wearing them once BUT I know I can dress this up fir the baptism and completely transform the look for another day. The dress is a gorgeous shirt dress design, it has buttons to the waist. To put it on you will need to put over your head. It has an asymmetrical hem which makes it fun and flirty and the bottom of the dress are layered so it gives a ruffle effect. To make the dress more casual you can wear with a pair of skinny jeans underneath or even a jumper over the...

Gingham peplum shirt from Primark

Image
I am crazy about peplums.......and gingham is on the come back, so you can imagine when I found this shirt in Primark I was ecstatic. Primark shirts are great, they wash well and last for the incredibly low prices you pay. Plus you can keep up to date with fashion for less. There are soooo many gorgous gingham items breaking through and I love the fact I can introduce this print into my workwear style. The peplum also gives it that added girly touch and will look great with black chinos or a pencil skirt. I didn't see this in any other colours but I am a huge monochrome lover so for me this is perfect. Why do you need this in your current wardrobe? 1. Excellent style for work. 2. Would look fab with skinny jeans and ballerina pumps. 3. Great value 4. Gingham print is IN 5. Gorgous peplum detail. Xxxx

Silver ankle ribbon ballet flats By River Island

Image
FINALLY I am soooo happy! Why? Erm because I own these  Beauts! Let me explain myself ... Last summer I was in Milan and I fell head over heels in love with the Miu Miu version BUT they had sold out in my size and only had white satin available which is not suitable for London. I left Milan pretty disappointed but with a purse full of Euros ( handy for the next trip) Anyway .... Look what I found in River Island - the best Miu Miu dupe going and I LOVE them!! The ballet trend is set to still be big this year and Miu Miu are still releasing more ballet style pumps so these are the next best thing.   These shoes are full of detail. Predominantly silver, with black bows, gold stud detail AND the famous gingham lace. Gingham is also set to be huge this year so they are perfect to mix and match with your outfits or team with a gingham shirt. Reasons why these are the must have shoes right now? 1. Miu Miu dupe alert! The next best thing! 2. Excellent va...
