The Floral Dress Edit

The Floral Dress Trend Gone are the days where we opt for something simple, why? because the floral trend is here and it is pretty much taking over. Im a huge fan of this trend, I have already blogged about Floral bags and now I am blogging about the trend in the form of a dress. And what a dress it is. The dress I have and where its from: 4 weeks ago I was shopping (well waiting for a friend) and decided to pop into the shops and have a mooch. I spotted this floral dress and wondered if I had enough time to try it on. I quickly headed to the changing room to give it a twirl and it soon became MINE. I originally bought it to wear with flatforms until It dawned on me I had a christening/ 1st Birthday and this dress would be perfect!     How I styled the dress: I  really wanted a fun and flirty look. Something inside me wanted to be more adventurous and with floral you can be! That is the beauty of this trend. The dress has a variation of colour, blus...

Sweatshirt with flowers embroidered on the sleeve from Bershka

Ever since the explosion of floral embroidery I have been in a trance wanting it all. However I have held back and only purchased key peices in fear that the trend will pass and I will be stuck with heaps of clothes off trend. BUT then Bershka dropped this jumper and this was one of those items that I permitted myself to have because it is SOOO pretty! It's like a really light mint colour jumper with delicate detailed sleeves. The sleeves are a light dotty detail with gorgeous floral e,broader in blue, pink and green. The sleeves are bell sleeves which seem to huge this year. I wasn't previously a fan but I seem to like them more and more and it really adds to the style of this jumper. I must say it is very girly and is the epitome of spring. This jumper I can team with distressed jeans, pearls and nude colour palette makeup. I can picture it now.   Great value, gorgeous colour, pretty details and epitome of spring - this is this months must ha...

PRIMARK retro 70s floral print shirt - Excellent value for money

New season, new clothes....but this time I'm talking workwear. I love being creative with my workwear, recently I have added ribbons and brooches to up style old shirts and whilst I am loving creativity and the looks I've  created, I fancied something a little more loud. Recently we have seen embroidery and gingham taking over the high street shops and I have been craving something different. PRIMARK... Is where I found this gorgeous chiffon shirt.. I picked it up and knew it would look fab with all black and touches of gold.. There I was ...sold, it's mine. Looking into the details it reminded me of the pyjama look that is hot right now, where the top has black piping around the Edges it definitely resembles the look. It has material attached to create a stylish bow, pussy bows are a massive hit, I'm bow obsessing atm. I chose size 8 - this material /look is meant to hang off you... so I was pleased the 8 looked great as I am usually size 8 -10 in tops....

It's ALL about the Zara dress - Embroidery is going to be huge next season!

I've started to become quite bored of summer wear and as each season comes to a slow end I am super excited for all the new trends to hit the shops. In recent weeks I have found myself frequenting Zara A Lot A LOT! Their new season trend of all things embroidered has taken over the store like the plague and to be quite frank I am loving it. Their styles are hugely based on the likes of Gucci and Dolce and Gabbana but the prices are a fraction and the quality is great! I've already posted about my Zara bag inspired by Gucci and when I bought that I also bought the most sought after and magical dress I could possible own.   I held off from wearing my dress as I really wanted to wear it for the first time for something special and then I realised I could wear it for my first wedding anniversary getaway in the evening! Just before this day I was reading ES magazine and saw that it has sold out! I couldn't believe it.. When I bought it there were so many - I didn...
