The Ivy Chelsea Garden -

Image
Every now and then I love to visit the hotspots in London and have something to look forward to. My last trip was before December so this day out was long overdue. Last year I saw the Ivy opened "The Ivy City Garden" and of-course I was desperate to go but due to unfortunate circumstances I never made it.  Fast forward to a couple of months ago when my friend and I were choosing where to have a day out and we chose "The Ivy Chelsea Garden". Admittedly this was the better choice! Why? The restaurant is located on one of Londons most sought after roads, one that is lined with high end shops, bars and beautiful houses. You can really make a day of it - and thats exactly what we did. I made the booking on www.opentable.co.uk which was great as they send reminders!  This is so handy considering we both lead hectic lives AND we tend to book so far in advance. Back to my experience: After wading through the bloggers having their pictu...

My first weekend in November - Autumn inspo

Image
This weekend was my first weekend I truly became excited about the change in weather.. In London it became much colder than recent days and I kept thinking its time to layer up! I am a MASSIVE fan of over the knee boots (OTKB) they are a classic style each autumn/ winter and this weekend I created two looks with my flat OTKB's. I currently own 4 pairs - 2 are flat with one pair being grey and one pair are black lace ups, I also have two with heels - one dressy and one with chunky rubber heels I purchased last year... See mine are old but it's a great reason to invest... I wear them all year after year and the beauty is all high street shops stock different styles and colours.   I decided to keep the same theme for both Saturday and Sunday and that was; - chunky knit jumper - mini skirt - over the knee boots - maxi duster coat From my pictures you can see that I alternated  my skirt and jumpers for each day.. Cream chunky knit jumpers are awesome for Autumn/ wi...

Make space in your wardrobe for Zara's Military embroidered jacket inspired by Dolce and Gabbana

Image
I'm toooo excited about this jacket and for some reason my blog has been playing up which has delayed me in sharing it...But... Never fear I am back and Here it is. This jacket literally is my life right now.. From my favourite place ZAra and based on the on trend military style from Dolce and Gabbana it is full of detail, full of class and fashion at its finest! The jacket is nicely tailored and size small fits me perfectly, it looks fitted but there is room for a thin jumper if need be. It's style is military (can sometimes be mistaken for Michael Jackson) but what I adore is that it is the military style mixed with the recent embroidery craze.. So that's basically two trends in one. It's is black which is perfect as I usually find military jackets come in navy therefore this makes it easier to style. It has gorgeous red piping, large gold buttons and gold embroidered prints.   The military look comes in fashion every autumn so this jacket is an ad...
