My new autumn work shoes - Penny loafers with pearls

Image
Autumn to me is all about revamping that work wardrobe. I class it like "Back to school" except I'm not in school.. maybe its more like "Back to work" without the 6 week holiday! Instagram and Facebook are no longer fuelled by friends holiday pictures and instead we see proud parents/ friends/ family members sharing their children first day at school pics. Many people have expressed they start fresh in September like children returning to school.. and I want to put it out there - so do I which means NEW WORK SHOES!! At this time of year I love black work shoes..it works best with all weather types and patent is always IN. The Penny Loafers with pearls where a natural choice. I absolutely love the style of these shoes because: - They 100% remind me of Chanel. - Patent is a classic autumn/ winter must have. - They have this seasons "must have" addition of pearls (this has been mine and my mums signature look for a few years now) t...

Pearly nude false nails from House of Holland

Image
I have never been one to get false nails, the most I would get are Gels before a long holiday to save me topping up or redoing them whilst abroad. And actually I had Minx nails... Remember them?? I loved them. Anyway back to false nails - I look the new pointed shape which is SOOO hot right now and to be honest I am getting bored of playing safe. I popped to boots and found these gorgeous nails. They are nude, white and gold! Love, love, love them. They are expensive but boots currently have them on offer - if you buy one pack you get the second half price which is Defo worth it. There was a Large selection and I believe that Boots are clearing old stock and making space for the new stock. This particular style is apart of the new range. The reason these caught my eyes were the fact they are not all the same design, they are quite classic with a pearl detail (I'm a massive pearl fan) yet they are so funky , so different and definitely not safe!! Mine. I p...

Kimmie floral embroidered rib jumper from Bows Boutiques

Image
Trending right now is all things embroidery, on dresses, jeans, boots, tops, bags...the list doesn't stop! I have really embraced this trend and every time I see something new I really want it.. I am trying not to go too overboard but it is proving to be hard. My latest addition to my embroidery collection is this gorgeous jumper from Bows Boutiques. It's absolutely stunning - the floral detail of colours - green, red, blush pink and nude are a great contrast on the black jumper. The extra special detail for me was the faux pearls and diamonds that are intwined with the embroidery design.. The embroidery isn't all over the jumper which is nice as sometimes having too much makes it more difficult to style.  The jumper has a lovely round neck, ribbed and baggy oversized style, it can be worn slightly off the shoulder. It's great to wear with a pair of jeans and boots to look smart casj at the weekend OR can be worn for a dinner date with faux leathe...

My favourite chokers revealed - Part 2 - Stradivarius

Image
Since I purchased my first choker recently I then of course really loved the look and yes I wanted more! Seriously this trend is so addictive!  I had a long beautiful summers day shopping in Oxford Street a week ago and I wasn't intentially looking for for more chokers but.... After stepping into Stradivarius and my eyes catching sight of  a pack of chokers..I found myself 5 minutes later queuing up and excited as hell. Why excited?  Wouldn't you be if you were purchasing not one, not two but five individual chokers. For me this means five different styles to create and they are all unique in their own way.  They did have other packs but I chose this because: 1. I love the pack is predominately black - I am loving black chokers, they make your outfit more dramatic and fierce. I am most confident wearing black. 2. There is a variation, some big sparkles, subtle sparkles, subtle beading, delicate beading and of course pearls! The pearls on ...
