During the summer season I love to own several pairs of summer shoes. I find it so easy to get carried away as there's so much more variety than winter shoes. I love pumps, trainers, sandles and espadrilles as I find them all pretty cheap which means I can mix and match my looks throughout summer for less and wear them this year and buy the latest footwear next year. After years of battling with my "online shopping" issues I have finally started to enjoy the process and I am trying to vary where I buy from. My latest purchase is from the wonderful world of Silk Fred. I have followed them on Facebook for at least 2 years and since last year on Instagram, I have loved so many items they have and the prices vary - you can find so much just browsing through and easily start falling in love. I have never been so excited to share something since I have started blogging and for me this is my ultimate purchase so far. Introducing my mini "trunk" from Aldo - the minute I laid eyes on this little gem I just knew I had to have it. It's so cute I literally could not resist! It comes in white and back and all black. I went for white and black as I thought it looked more striking and really adds impact to an outfit. I'm also a huge lover of all things monochrome. At the moment I am crushing hard on all styles of shirts and I was especially excited to wear and share this beautiful bargain. This top is from Bowsboutiques.com - a place I haven't actually purchased from before but loved the shirt so much I took the plunge! The shirt was originally sold out but they had a great website where you can enter your email address and receive a notification when they are back in stock. I love dressing up for a night out but even more so when I buy a spur of the moment item and mentally create an outfit in my head. I love heading home asking myself ..will it look like the image I have created in my mind!? Luckily on Saturday night it all worked out! I purchased this stunning skirt from River Island during the day and was captured buy it's hot pink colour. I don't usually wear colours but for some reason I really fancied this and loved the style too. It's a slip on skirt which looks like a wrap skirt, however it quite an illusion as there is a zip at the back. The skirt parts in the middle at the front and hangs longer at the back. (Heels are best suited with this skirt as it elongates your legs) Underneath there is another layer (slip) connected to each side seam which felt slightly tighter than the skirt itself. Do you constantly find yourself living in jeans? I do! No matter how hard I try to stear away from jeans every weekend I find myself living in them. As I can't kick my love for jeans I have decided on a better solution.. Just buy jeans that I really really love. Lucky for me I have found "the one". I literally can not get enough of shoes.. I have every style possible and sometimes when I really love a particular pair of shoes I buy either the exact same pair again or I buy another pair in a different colour. I don't usually wear colours but every now and again I love a pop of colour to inject into my wardrobe and really bring an outfit to life! Saturday night and I had a birthday to attend And i couldn't wait...I do love an occasion. I love when groups of friends or family are brought together to celebrate. This time I had pre planned and I knew exactly what I wanted to wear. This particular birthday celebration was being held in a pub close to where I live and it's a smart / casual pub. When I think of smart/ casual, I always think of a pair of jeans with a dressy top and understated shoes/ boots. I recently won a competition with Next where I could choose a few free items of clothing and one of the pieces I chose was this top. I literally couldn't wait to wear it once it arrived and my friends birthday was a great excuse.
